About COBHAM SPORTING GUN

Cobham Sporting Gun Club was founded in 1984.  Today the club has a membership of up to a maximum of 100 guns at a variety of levels of experience, including colts and ladies.

Discipline: English Sporting, 72 bird shoot.

Shoot schedule: shooting takes place on the first and third Sunday morning of the month.  Registration is between 09:30 and 09:50am, shooting commences at 10:00am prompt and finishes before 1:00pm.  Guests must be signed in by a member.

Shoot rates: £15 for members, £5 for colts and £22 for guests - plus cartridges.

Cartridges: The club permits only low recoil, fibre wad cartridges to be used at the ground. These must be purchased from the club before each shoot.

Safety: All participants and spectators must wear hearing protection and all guns are strongly advised to wear eye protection.  Each squad must carry at least one whistle.

Facilities: club house, toilets, off road parking and refreshments before the shoot begins.

Club location: we are situated at the far end of Kiln Lane, off Portsmouth Road, about 1 mile from Ripley, Surrey (next left hand turn south of the Jovial Sailor Public House).  Grid ref: TQ044553
